Can I wear a light down jacket in summer in the mountains?

What's the difference between softshell and fleece?
Fleece insulates warmth and remains very light. Softshell adds protection against wind or light rain. It's more versatile and ideal on the move.
How do I wash technical outdoor garments?
Wash at low temperature without fabric softener, and air-dry. Use a special membrane product if the jacket is waterproof. This prolongs the life of the fabric.
